The All Night Gospel Singing - A Historic Tradition in Renfro Valley

On Saturday night August 6th, the tradition continues at Renfro Valley Entertainment Center with the historic and award winning All Night Gospel Singing in Renfro Valley's New Barn Theater! Starting at 6:45pm and going until 1:00am or later, this year's lineup will feature Rockcastle Counties own Melissa Singleton, The Hyssongs, The Roarks, Paul's Journey, Crystal River, Palmetto State Quartet and Jeff & Sheri Easter!

Blessing people through their music is something the Hyssongs have been doing for years. Their commitment to love the Lord and each other continues to grow stronger. Their presentation touches the hearts of audiences wherever they go. Dell, Susan, and Richard sing and share their testimonies throughout the United States and Canada. They have appeared in churches, auditoriums, and have been featured on television and radio. They travel with one goal and that is to see souls saved, plant seeds for harvest, and uplift Christians. With family vocal harmony, lively energetic style, humor, love for God, and brass instruments (trumpet and trombone), they encourage and uplift people wherever they appear.

The Roarks are comprised of Shane, Travis, Paul and Jetta Roark. They are one today's best sounding Christian Country/Southern Gospel Artists. They believe in what they sing and live it off stage as well as on. They have a unique sound and ability to get God's Message across through song. They are the owners of Chapel Valley Studios in Sharps Chapel, TN where they have been listed as one of the fastest growing record companies in the gospel music industry. If you like great Gospel Music then The Roarks are for you.

Something special happens when four male voices join together in unsurpassed harmony, blending and swelling many great anthems of praise. Then, when the same four men have the same vision and heart for ministry, you have the ultimate winning combination..."Talent and focus". But it is with a humble heart that Sanctuary (Chapel Valley) Recording Artist, Paul's Journey (formerly The Relations Quartet), presents a program, over 200 days a year nationwide, that is not only entertaining but uplifting to the soul. Even with all of the awards, accolades and recordings to their credit, you will never find a more humble group of men than Rod Treme, Ryan Napier, Chad Stephenson and Randall Garland. Paul's Journey is continually pointing souls toward the ultimate gift... the gift of salvation.

Crystal River, a group of unique young men in their twenties. Their youthful, energetic, and ministry-oriented performances have been thrilling people and changing lives everywhere they go. From intricate acapella arrangements to classic gospel harmony, Crystal River delivers a powerful performance with a modern spin on the traditional sound of Gospel Music that will bless you from head to toe.

The Palmetto State Quartet has its roots firmly planted in Greenville, South Carolina. Sometime between 1946 and 1947 Jamie Dill, Woodrow Pittman, Clarence Owens, Malone Thomason, and Paul Burroughs, all Greenville natives, joined together to form a Gospel Quartet. This part of the groups' history is a bit cloudy as a majority of the original members of the quartet have now passed away. Not long after they started singing together these men were able to secure a thirty minute program which would air live on WFBC Radio in Greenville. Legend has it that they held a contest, through their radio program, to name the group. Contestants would mail in their suggestions for the group's name. The votes would be tallied and the name which received the most recommendations would be chosen. Thus, the Palmetto State Quartet was born.

For Jeff and Sheri, gospel music is genetically programmed into their DNA. As members of acclaimed musical families—Jeff's father is one of the Easter Brothers and Sheri's mother is a member of The Lewis Family—they grew up surrounded by the sound of people praising God through their musical gifts. Jeff & Sheri have been nominated for numerous Dove Awards and won five. They've also received a Grammy nomination, and Sheri has been named the Singing News Favorite Alto eleven times and the Singing News Female Vocalist four times. Jeff & Sheri's wall of awards also include three Society for the Preservation of Bluegrass Music Association Awards, two International Country Gospel Music Association, nine Voice Awards for Female Artist, five Voice Awards for Song/Single of the Year, two Voice Awards for Christian Country Group, four SGM Fan Fair/USGN awards, five SGN Scoops Diamond Awards, four Hearts Aflame Awards, and three Cash Box awards. They have also participated in the Gaither Homecoming Video Series since 1993, which has sold over 15 million units.
