Renfro Valley Entertainment Center has recently been racking up the awards and recognitions. Within the past few months Renfro Valley has been awarded two very prestigious awards within the state of Kentucky and one award that is recognized across the United States.
On June 1st, 2011 the very popular Renfro Valley Bluegrass Festival was awarded Honorable Mention in the Kentucky Travel Industry Association's 2011 Summer Top 10 Festivals & Events competition. There will be an article in the June issue of Kentucky Monthly magazine announcing all of the summer season winners.
On May 15th, 2011 Renfro Valley Entertainment Center was awarded 2nd Place Best Local Performing Arts Site in the 2011 Best in Kentucky awards. This competition was voted on by the readers of Kentucky Living magazine.
In early April 2011 the highly regarded Woodall's RV Club bestowed it's most prestigious award to the Renfro Valley RV Park. In recognition of Renfro Valley's time and investment in attaining one of the highest of Woodall's Campground Directory ratings, Renfro Valley was awarded the 4 W Award. Renfro Valley's RV Park has many modern amenities found in most hotels today and is one of the most beautiful and most visited in the state of Kentucky. .
Just recently at the 2011 Tour SEKY Bloom Awards held in Somerset, KY Renfro Valley employee's Janie King, Lodge Restaurant Server, Vicki Kidd, Renfro Valley CEO/COO and Craig Barnett, Director of Sales & Marketing was nominated in several categories. The Renfro Valley Lodge Restaurant was also nominated in the category of Best Dining Experience in Southeast KY.
All awards are on view for the public to see in the newly renovated Renfro Valley Ticket & Information Office.
