Renfro Valley 2012 Season Open Auditions

How Much and Who?:Auditions are free and open to the public

Has it always been your dream to perform on stage? Renfro Valley Entertainment Center is holding open auditions Tuesday February 7th for male and female singers to be part of our historic Renfro Valley shows. You'll perform on stage at the historic Old Barn Theater along side some of finest musicians in the country, the Renfro Valley band. We're also looking for talented family friendly comedians to keep our guests laughing throughout the year.

Singer Open Audition rules and guidelines.

• Candidates must be 16 years or older to perform.
• All candidates must perform one song on stage. We prefer you perform live with the Renfro Valley Band, but you may bring a CD if you choose.
• Must perform a Gospel, Country or Bluegrass song A well known song is preferred so the band can play along.
• Candidates must dress the part. Attire to go along with their style of music.
• Current auditions are for individuals only. We will have separate auditions for bands and groups at a later date.

Comedian Open Audition rules and guidelines.

• Candidates will be required to perform on the Friday and Saturday shows.
• Candidates must be 16 years or older to perform.
• Acts must be family friendly. No exceptions.
• Performers will be given 5 minutes on stage.
• Candidates must dress the part.

The auditions are open to the public to watch, free of charge. Seats seats are on a first come first serve basis.
