Susan Tomes Laws
Susan has been part of the Renfro Valley shows for over 25 years, but
confesses she still gets stage fright every show––as if she’s
stepping onto the stage for her first time.
Her outstanding vocal talent was awarded “Female Vocalist Of The Year” in 1998 and 1999. She was also inducted into the Renfro Valley Hall of Fame in 1997.
Susan first came to Renfro Valley in 1980, commuting from Louisville while teaching elementary school. After 10 years of that hectic pace, she decided to move near the Valley and devote all her attention to singing. Susan and her husband, Mark, reside in Berea, Kentucky.
